- Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell hosts an official Lollapalooza afterparty on Aug. 6 atSpyBar (646 N. Franklin St., 312-337-2191) from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Farrell’s wife, Etty, and Chris Cox will start spinning at 11:30 p.m.
- Angels & Kings Chicago (Hard Rock Hotel, 230 N. Michigan Ave., 312-334-6722) is hosting afterparties all weekend long. Tonight, see Pete Wentz’s new band Black Cards play, with Wentz DJing after the set. Tomorrow, ?uestlove DJs, and Sunday, check out Chuck Inglish of Chicago band The Cool Kids, in the DJ booth. The parties start at 9 p.m. each night. Angels & Kings never has a cover.
- Debonair Social Club (1575 N. Milwaukee Ave., 773-227-7990) is hosting some of the weekend’s best parties (all 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.), including a Friday night bash with Friendly Fires and a Saturday night party with The White Lies and DJ Elijah Wood. For those of you who are up and back in Grant Park by 11 a.m., stop by Field 9 near the south stage, where the Official Lollapalooza versus Debonair staff kickball will be going on. Celeb watchers: Pete Wentz, Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul, and Elijah Wood are taking the field for the Lolla team.
- The Underground (56 W. Illinois St., 312-644-7600) hosts a series of events this weekend, all going from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. The club is promising “legendary hosts” and “special surprise guests,” along with DJ Momjeans (best DJ name ever!) tonight, The Alchemist and DJ Cobra on Saturday, DJ Adam 12, Mia Maretti, and Caitlin Mae on Sunday.
