Budget-Friendly: Ramen Noodle Recipes

Anyone who’s ever been on a budget knows the importance of Ramen Noodles! These are an essential for every college student, or budget savvy cook.

Check out these 3 delicious recipes using the one and only, Ramen Noodle:

1) Asian Summer Salad

Make your own simple Asian Summer Salad with ramen noodles, green onions, cabbage and shredded chicken. This makes a wonderful dish for potluck picnics.

2 pks Chicken flavored Ramen w/ seasonings packets
3 green onions, sliced
1 1/2 C shredded chicken
4 C chopped green cabbage

Mix in medium bowl;
3 Tbl. white sugar (or a little artificial sweetener)
4 Tbl. rice vinegar
3 Tbl. sesame oil
seasoning packs from Ramen noodles

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, chill for a few hours. The flavor is better if left to stand for several hours, even a day or so.

2) Antipasto Ramen Salad

1 package any flavor ramen noodles
1/4 cup pepperoni, sliced
1/4 cup black olives
1/8 cup bermuda onion, sliced
Italian dressing

What to do:

Cook noodles according to package directions and drain. Add
pepperoni, olives and onions. Sprinkle on dressing and toss.

3) Chocolate Peanut Butter Ramen Krispies

Make your own Chocolate Peanut Butter Ramen Krispie Bars using just 4 ingredients. This no-bake dirt cheap dessert is delicious and perfect when it’s too hot to bake!

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup corn syrup
3 packages ramen noodle any flavor

Line an 8″ square pan with foil. Remove ramen noodles from package and place into a bowl. Save seasoning for another use. Break noodles apart in to cereal size pieces. In another bowl mix together the peanut butter, cocoa powder, and corn syrup. Fold in ramen noodles and press in to foil lined bowl. Place in fridge until firm. Remove from pan by lifting the foil. Cut into desired size. For a tasty and pepped up alteration, add 1tsp instant coffee to peanut butter mixture.
